As Responsible
German Shepherd breeders all of our German Shepherds are WCVM, OVC or
OFA certified and all of our breeding German Shepherds have or are working
towards obedience titles. We strive to keep the intelligence and workability
of the German Shepherd Dog alive and strong in all of our pups, while
still meeting the all breed German Shepherd conformation standard. Temperament
or Structure extremes in either direction have no place at Riesa German
Shepherds and we feel are a detriment to the breed. Thanks to Lawrence
Anonychuk of Canisphere Shepherds we have access to some of the worlds
top producing German Shepherds and our breeding program includes these
highly rated and sought after Blood Lines. Thanks also goes out to Ann
Marie Leadbeater of Grunfeld shepherds for our wonderful brood female
Elka
von Grunfeld CD. She was our foundation female and she gave us wonderful
pups. Her daughters Fenix
and Diva are continuing in her foot steps.

I litter pups can be traced back to the first German Shepherd registered
with the SV
in Germany, That
is 108 years of German Shepherds. We breed what we believe in! We
will not scurry back and forth between types of Shepherds in order to
win in the Breed Ring or to make a fast buck! Our German Shepherds are
some of the few remaining German Shepherds that are owner handled and
trained. It may take us longer to achieve a Championship but it is worth
it.
We have one to two German
Shepherd litters a year, all of our pups get individual attention, and
are well socialized. The pups are born and raised in the house, and
will have some house and crate training. We believe your German Shepherd
pup should be a part of your family and we will not sell
a dog to a home that does not believe in this. All of our German Shepherd
pups come with a life time guarantee against serious genetic health
faults. Our German Shepherd pups have gone on to compete and receive
titles in many different venues. What is most important as German Shepherd
breeders is that the pups have gone on to be great companions and family
members.

Formula, bottles, heating pads, you've got to get this

two-hour feedings for this tiny guy, throughout the day and night.
Within your heart you dread that you will surely lose this fight,
To save this little baby, but God willing . . . you just MIGHT.
Day one; he's in there fighting; you say a silent prayer.
Day two & three, he's doing well, with lots of love and care.
Day four & five . . . he's still alive; your hopes soar to the heavens.
Day six he slips away again, dies in your hands, day seven.
You take this little angel, and bury him alone.
With aching heart and burning tears, and an exhausted groan,
You ask yourself, "Why do this? . . . Why suffer through this pain?"
Yet watch the joy your puppies bring, and everything's explained.
So, when you think of breeders and label them with "Greed,"
Think of all that they endure to fill another's need.
For when you buy your puppy, with your precious dollars part,
You only pay with money . . . while they pay with all their heart.
